Join us on November 17, 2013 in The Woodlands for the inaugural Camo 5K, benefiting the GRS Foundation and the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
The GRS Foundation was established to honor the memory of Robert Scardino, an avid outdoorsman, who was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in late 2011 and passed away in 2013. To commemorate Robert’s love for adventure and the outdoors, we encourage all participants to wear their camo at the run.
Starting and finishing at Northshore Park, the Camo 5K will wind through The Woodlands pathways, where our runners will be greeted by the sights and sounds of nature—and perhaps even a cool fall breeze.
All proceeds will be dedicated to LBDA research and awareness, as well as support for LBDA families.
With your help, we can ensure that Robert’s enthusiasm for life and family will endure through the work of his foundation.
